Wednesday, October 6th at 7 pm in the Meeting Room
"Who Wrote Shakespeare?" Samuel Blumenfeld, author of 'The Marlowe-Shakespeare Connection", will address the long-standing debate over the true author of Shakespeare's plays.  Could the author of the works attributed to Shakespeare actually be poet and playwright Christopher Marlowe?  
FREE!  Registration begins on Monday, September 20 in the Information Services Department.
Wednesday, October 20th at 7 pm in the Meeting Room
Local Author, David Daniel!
"A collection of stories with a touch of the strange".  Well known author, David Daniel, will read from and discuss his newest book, "Coffin Dust: Strange Stories".  Ghoulish treats will be served!
FREE! No registration required.
Wednesday, November 3rd at 7 pm in the Mary Atwood Room
"Taking the Mystery Out of Facebook"
What are the benefits and threats of Facebook and why is it so appealing? What kinds of information are risky to reveal on-line?  Beth Gallaway (A.K.A. "The Information Goddess") will show us unique ways to reveal personality without compromising personal safety and how to navigate Facebook's ever changing privacy filters.  She will also cover prompts for parents to open a dialogue with children about good cyber-citizenship and Internet safety protocols.
FREE! Registration begins on Monday, October 18 in the Information Services Department.
Wednesday, December 15th at 7 pm in the Meeting Room
"Nutcracker Suite- A Piano Concert"
Alfred Watson, classical composer and pianist, Julliard graduate and seasoned performer has created a unique presentation, a magical lecture and performance built around the music of the Nutcracker, as well as, the story and life of it's composer, Peter Tchaikovsky.  Light refreshments will be served.  
FREE!  ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!  Registration begins on Monday, November 29 in the Information Services Department.
